COUNTY JUDGE A. Consider and approve opening the following positions to be paid out of the American Rescue Plan Act funds. Positions will assist in Mental Health Services and COVID-19 support. 1. 5100-5364, Investigator II at 1 full-time equivalent spot, annualized salary as defined on step plan. 2. 7100-5365, Deputy-Constable at 10 full-time equivalent spots, annualized salary as defined on step plan. 3. 2800-5366, Attorney III at 1 full-time equivalent spot, annualized salary to be $95,459. 4. 2600-5367, Operations Specialist III at 1 full-time equivalent spot, annualized salary to be $50,000. B. Consider and approve allocating $150,000 for Mental Health Ad-Litem Attorneys due to an increase in mental health cases. Funding source to be American Rescue Plan Act funds. C. Consider, discuss and take appropriate action regarding the purchase of necessary vehicles, equipment and supplies for mental health deputy positions. Please name funding sources for each category.

Consider, discuss, and take appropriate action, including immediate action, due to the imminent threat to public health and safety as a result of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), pandemic. B. Consider, discuss and take appropriate action authorizing Emergency Management to make necessary medical supplies, personal protective equipment, and operational supplies for response to COVID-19 throughout Montgomery County in an amount not to exceed $250,000. Operational supplies to include necessary purchases for vaccine distribution throughout the county. Funds to come from ARPA Funds. C. Consider, discuss and take appropriate action authorizing overtime for law enforcement officers to work necessary shifts at vaccine sites and infusion sites at the discretion of OEM, in an amount not to exceed $50,000. Funds to come from ARPA. D. Consider and approve authorization to modify existing ILA’s with Montgomery County FRO’s previously approved on January 26, 2021 to increase the scope of work required to include providing medical support at infusion center. Authorize Judge Mark Keough to sign amendments with necessary departments to effectuate this change. No funding source needed. E. Consider and approve procurement of excess professional liability, and other applicable, insurance coverage(s) for healthcare staffing agreement, previously authorized on August 10, 2021; funding source to be self-insurance fund.
